The RISAA Black Sea Bass tournament starts Friday September 26th at 6:00am and ends Sunday October 5th at 6:00pm. Participants may fish from a boat, a kayak, or the shore.
This will be a team and singles event. Teams must register online prior to the first day of the tournament. No pre-registration required for singles. The weight of the top 4 fish will be counted for teams and the top 2 for singles. In case of a tie, the fish entered first wins. Prizes for the top 5 spots in each category. 1st-$100, 2nd-$75, 3rd-$50, 4th $30, 5th-$20. Prizes are awarded to each participant in the form of a voucher to members favorite RISAA affiliated bait/tackle shop.
All entries must be registered on the RISAA website by midnight on June 8th. Sponsors of junior members may enter fish on the juniors behalf.Please include a picture of the angler with the fish and a picture of the weigh-in slip with each entry. (The weigh-in slip must be legible). All entries must be weighed at a RISAA affiliated shop.
A RISAA sponsored charter trip has been reserved on October 5th with the Frances Fleet. The tournament committee will have an official weight scale. This will allow members to weigh their catch for better table fare or to release the fish. Only tournament committee members will be authorized to weigh fish and sign slips. A photo of the angler with the fish and the weigh-in slip must still be submitted.
All other entries must be weighed at a RISAA affiliated shop.
