RISAA believes that RI offers some of the best angling opportunities anywhere in the nation, and we like to share our excitement and passion for this outstanding fishery with others. To that end, we have created a RI saltwater fishing guide for anyone interested in participating in our passion.
We support all angler types – be they folks fishing from shore, near-shore in kayaks or powerboats, or chasing Tuna and other gamefish offshore. If you are just learning about this fishery, many of our members run charter fishing trips, an outstanding way to learn where, when and how to target individual species. In addition, Rhode Island offers abundant opportunities to collect your own shellfish, be they clams, oysters or even spend an evening crabbing.
