Nantucket Shoals Fluke

May 23 @ 7:30 pm

When it comes to fabled fluke grounds, no site has garnered more attention recently than Nantucket
Shoals.    Deep Water, strong currents and long steam rides are the norm. It is not for every
angler or every boat… but if you have dreamed of a legit chance at a double digit fluke on your line
and are considering taking the trip don’t miss RISAA’s May Nantucket Shoals Fluke Seminar.

Capt. TJ Harris, RISAA member and Aquidneck Island Striper Team Vice President, will take you
through how he plans for these highly specialized fluke fishing trips.  What size fluke you can
realistically have a chance at? What the options are? What to expect and how to plan out your trip?
And, what gear to bring and just as important what gear to leave home? What techniques seem to work best and what doesn’t do well in the turbulent waters that dominate this deep water fluke
fishery.

If your quest is a personal best fluke in 2022… this might just be the seminar for you.

Special Notice – In person seminars are back!

This is the second in-person seminar we plan to have post COVID, back at the Elks Lodge. We plan to have food available at 5:30 pm as in the past and plan to tape the seminar for members who were not able to attend.
